Val di Fiemme/Dolomites: a charming valley between South Tyrol and the Trentino
The Val di Fiemme/Dolomites stretches between the mountain ranges of Lagorái and Latemar along the river Avisio – With its numerous towns, like Cavalese, Predazzo und Tesero, it is mainly part of the region Trentino. Only the village of Anterivo to the west is an exception and belongs to the region of South Tyrol. Also to the west, you will find the Nature Park Trodena – an amazing place for hikes and walks. The Latemar mountain range rises in the north; to the east, the Val di Fiemme/Dolomites is enclosed by the Nature Park Paneveggio and the Pale di San Martino. Down south, the Lagorái mountain range welcomes you with the ski area Alpe Cermis.
